There are several different kinds of supermarkets around the University of Luebeck and the University of Applied Sciences campuses that might be important to know during the first days after arriving in Luebeck:
Generally, there are supermarkets such as EDEKA, SKY or REWE as well as discounters such as ALDI, Penny or LIDL that are located all over the city.Please be aware that supermarkets usually close at 8pm (exceptions: Penny/ REWE at 10pm, REAL at midnight); Stores are not typically open on Sundays with the exception of popular tourist areas like the Baltic Sea.
